Color Screens
Color screens fill your whole display with one solid color. Pick a color below, press F for fullscreen and every pixel shows exactly that color. They are used to find dead and stuck pixels, as a soft light source, as a chroma key backdrop and as a calm, distraction-free screen.
White Screen
A clean fullscreen white screen for lighting, cleaning your monitor, tracing and spotting dead pixels.
Black Screen
A pure fullscreen black screen for finding stuck pixels, checking backlight bleed and dimming a display.
Red Screen
A solid fullscreen red screen for testing red subpixels, night-friendly light and color backdrops.
Green Screen
A bright fullscreen green screen for chroma key backdrops, green subpixel checks and uniformity tests.
Blue Screen
A saturated fullscreen blue screen for blue subpixel tests, chroma keying and cool ambient light.
Yellow Screen
A fullscreen yellow screen that lights red and green subpixels together, or works as a warm light.
Orange Screen
A warm fullscreen orange screen for cozy ambient light, sunset-toned photos and color comparisons.
Pink Screen
A soft fullscreen pink screen for flattering selfie light, mood lighting and pastel backdrops.
Purple Screen
A rich fullscreen purple screen for ambient room light, streaming backdrops and color checks.
Cyan Screen
A fullscreen cyan screen that lights green and blue subpixels together to reveal channel defects.
Magenta Screen
A fullscreen magenta screen that lights red and blue subpixels together, ideal for spotting tints.
Gray Screen
A neutral fullscreen gray screen for spotting clouding, banding and dirty screen effect on panels.
Which color should I use?
Use white for light and cleaning, black to hide the screen or check backlight bleed, and pure red, green and blue to test each subpixel. Gray reveals uneven brightness, and warm orange or pink make gentle night and selfie lights.
Exact color values
Every color screen uses an exact hex value (for example #FF0000 for red) so tests are reliable. You can still type any custom hex code and download any color as a PNG up to 8K.
Color Screens FAQ
How do I make my whole screen one color?
Open the color page and press F or click Fullscreen. Your browser hides its toolbars and shows only the color. Press Esc to exit.
Do color screens work on phones and TVs?
Yes. They run in any modern browser, including Android, iPhone, smart TVs and game consoles. On iPhone Safari the color fills the browser window.
Can I download a solid color image?
Yes. Every color page has a free PNG of that color, and the download panel makes any size from 720p to 8K.
