About Us

WhiteScreen.vip is a simple, focused tool suite that turns any screen into a solid, full-brightness color, diagnostic test pattern, visual effect, or screensaver. We built it because most similar sites are slow, cluttered with ads, or full of intrusive popups — when all you really want is a clean, reliable screen tool, instantly.

What we believe

• Tools should load fast and do their job cleanly without friction.
• Your privacy matters: every tool runs entirely client-side in your browser.
• Good design means fewer distractions, zero popups, and reliable keyboard controls.

What we offer

Over 50 free web utilities: solid color light sources, dead pixel and backlight bleed testers, screen uniformity checkups, Matrix and flip clock screensavers, Pomodoro and countdown timers, and harmless visual props for video producers and sets.

How the tools are made

Every tool is built and tested on real hardware: LCD, IPS, VA and OLED monitors, laptops, phones and TVs. Test patterns use exact color values, timers count against the system clock, and nothing is uploaded: images, camera previews and settings stay on your device. Pages are kept small so they open quickly even on slow connections.

The guides, background pages and screen-problem articles explain what each test shows and what to do next, in plain language. They are written for people checking a new monitor, cleaning a screen, lighting a video call or setting up a display at work. If something is unclear or wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Who builds WhiteScreen.vip

WhiteScreen.vip was created by Whitson Rao, a software developer and UX designer with a Computer Science degree from the University of Washington, and is run by the small PurelyUX studio in the United States. Whitson designs, builds and tests every tool himself. Whitson Rao →
