About the Color Changing Screen
Smoothly fade your whole screen through the color spectrum, or cycle a custom list of colors. Great for mood lighting, parties and stuck-pixel exercises.
How the color cycle moves
The cycle steps through the hue wheel, from red through yellow, green, cyan, blue and magenta back to red, at the speed you choose. In smooth mode each color fades into the next; in step mode the screen jumps between solid colors, which is handy for quick display checks.
Full-brightness primary and secondary colors also give a fast look at your panel: uneven patches, color tints or dead subpixels stand out on solid fields.
Ambient light and parties
On a TV or second monitor, a slow cycle makes simple mood lighting for parties, gaming setups or relaxing. Lower the brightness and choose a slow speed for a calm room, or fast steps for a party. Fast flashing can be uncomfortable for some people; keep the speed moderate if anyone is sensitive to flicker.

Frequently asked questions
Can color cycling fix stuck pixels?
Sometimes rapidly changing colors helps a stuck subpixel respond again, but it is not guaranteed and it cannot fix dead pixels.

Fast flashing can affect people with photosensitive epilepsy. The speed is capped, starts slow, and reduced motion is respected.
Can I pause on a color I like?
